MINISTER LAUNCHES INQUIRY INTO PRISONER ABSCOND
Prisons’ Minister Paul Goggins has asked the Prison Service to carry out an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abscond of prisoner Mark Thomas Clarke (40) on Tuesday afternoon. The prisoner, who had been ‘living in the community’, was recaptured by police this afternoon.
