MINISTER LAUNCHES INQUIRY INTO PRISONER ABSCOND
Prisons’ Minister Paul Goggins has asked the Prison Service to carry out an immediate investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abscond of prisoner Mark Thomas Clarke (40) on Tuesday afternoon. The prisoner, who had been ‘living in the community’, was recaptured by police this afternoon.

Maghaberry Nurses win Healthcare Award

Prison Service Nurse Officers Tara Sanderson, Rhonda Fagan and Julie Stewart won top honors in the mental health section of the Annual NI Healthcare Awards Ceremony, organized by NI Medical Review, at the Europa Hotel last night.
