DESIGN CONTRACT FOR NEW PRISON OUT TO TENDER
Plans to take forward the development of Magilligan Prison moved a step closer this week when the contract for Design Team Services went out to tender.
The Prison Service aims to appoint the successful team by the end of the year.
The decision to redevelop Magilligan Prison was announced by Prisons’ Minister Paul Goggins last December.

PRISON STAFF TAKE GIANT STEPS TO HELP LITTLE NATASHA
Members of the Northern Ireland Prison Service are taking a giant step forward to raise money for the Natasha Falls Appeal.
They have organised the Natasha Falls “Journey of Hope” Challenge Walk at the Giant’s Causeway on August 25 as part of the fund-raising drive to help provide specialised medical care for the young Ballygowan girl who suffers from a rare genetic disorder.
