Confirmation of Booking On receipt of your booking form, Magilligan will check the availability and confirm your booking.

Please indicate how you would like us to confirm the booking and give details of where you can be contacted.










Magilligan's booking office is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm from Wedesday Sunday. Over lunchtime or when the lines are busy a message can be left on the answerphone.

If you send a request through outside of these hours it will be processed on the next visiting day. You should not travel without having received confirmation of your booking.

Photographic I.D. Photgraphic I.D. is required for visitors aged 16 and over. Acceptable I.D. is
  • PASSPORT
  • DRIVING LICENCE
  • UK CITIZENS CARD (Application Forms can be obtained from the prison or online at www.citizencard.com)
  • Electoral Identity Card

Change of booking details

If you have to make any change to your booking details after your booking has been confirmed, you must notify the booking office at Magilligan on Tel: 028 7772 0454 in advance of your visit. You must have your booking reference when doing this.

Please make sure you have completed each section of the form. Once all the details have been entered, send the form.
