Brief description:

 Situated in Dundonald House in the Stormont Estate, Prison Service Headquarters is responsible for the overall administration of the Service. The Service is headed by the Director General who is responsible for the management of Service, and the provision of advice on prisons matters to the Secretary of State. 

Structure:

 The Director General is supported by four  directors responsible for Finance & Corporate Services , Operations, Human Resourses & Organisational Directorate and the Programme & Development Directorate.
